More importantly than playing a game is knowing what's going to happen to you when you die. Below is the simple, yet life-changing message of Salvation. If you're already a believer, you can check out our resources for ways to continue your walk of faith.

The Gospel Of Jesus Christ

It is our prayer that you have reached this page out of searching for Truth in your life. The Bible says that Truth can only be found in One Person - Jesus Christ. It is only by accepting His work and trusting in Him for salvation that we can enter into Heaven. Please read the Gospel below as explained through the simplicity of "The Four Spiritual Laws".

1. "God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life."

John 3:16 tells us, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 10:10 gives us the reason that Jesus came, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." What is blocking us from God's love? What is preventing us from having an abundant life?

2. "Humanity is tainted by sin and is therefore separated from God. As a result, we cannot know God's wonderful plan for our lives."

Romans 3:23 affirms this information, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 6:23 gives us the consequences of sin, "the wages of sin is death." God created us to have fellowship with Him. However, humanity brought sin into the world, and is therefore separated from God. We have ruined the relationship with Him that God intended us to have. What is the solution?

3. "Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. Through Jesus Christ, we can have our sins forgiven and restore a right relationship with God."

Romans 5:8 tells us, "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 informs us of what we need to know and believe in order to be saved, "...that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures..." Jesus Himself declares that He is the only way of salvation in John 14:6, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." How can I receive this wonderful gift of salvation?

4. "We must place our faith in Jesus Christ as Savior in order to receive the gift of salvation and know God's wonderful plan for our lives."

John 1:12 describes this for us, "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God." Acts 16:31 says it very clearly, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved!" We can be saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9).

If you want to trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior, say the following words to God. Saying these words will not save you, but trusting in Christ will! This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing for your salvation.

"God, I know that I have sinned against you and deserve punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. I place my trust in You for salvation. Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness - the gift of eternal life! Amen!"

Christian Resources

God wants believers to live life by faith, as Colossians 2:6 says, "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him". We received Christ by faith, so we must also continue our lives by faith in Him. We do this be studying God's Word, the Bible, and applying it our lives with the help of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives inside every Christian, from the moment you trust in Christ for your salvation. Below are a few examples of how to apply the Word to your life.

Reading the Word

Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments. " How can we love God without knowing His commandments? Just as your faith came by hearing the Word of God, you must also continue to read the Word to continue in the faith! God said that as new Christians, we must "desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby". Just like newborn babies need milk to grow, Christians need the Bible to grow. We grow by reading God's Word and letting the Holy Spirit (which lives inside every Christian) teach us about what we are reading. All we have to do is apply ourselves to study and meditate (think about the meaning, turn it over in your mind) on what we are reading, and ask the Holy Spirit to show us what we need to learn, and He will!

A great place to start is in the book of John - just read the whole book through. If you don't have a Bible you can access a FREE one (we recommend the King James Version) online at www.biblegateway.com. This book of the Bible is among many that are a testament to what Christ did while on earth, and the examples He set for us to follow. Remember to ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and instruct you while you are reading.

While God has also given many to be pastors, teachers, and instructors, ultimately we should rely only on God's Word as the final authority for everything we believe. Men can be wrong sometimes, but God can NEVER lie (Numbers 23:19).

Here are some great reading plans we have made available to you.

Memorizing the Word

A practical way to remember something is by creating a memory plan. Most of us did this same thing in grade school with our addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts. After doing rhymes and riddles with the numbers, when you saw the equation, your brain easily and automatically recalled the answer.

The same is true for God's Word as well. The more we memorize of God's Word, the more we can: 1) Keep sin out of our lives (Psalm 119:9-11), 2) Share it with others when asked (1 Peter 3:15), and 3) Understand Who God is and how He thinks, so we can be more like Him (Deuteronomy 17:19). The founder of The Navigators, Dawson Trotman, created a system of memory specifically for the Bible. The system is so easy to use, we've even implemented it into our Bible Study here in the clan. Here's how it works:

  1. Download the Memory Plan PDF
  2. The goal is to memorize 3 Verses a week, for the rest of your life! This is a lifetime commitment to memorizing Scripture.
  3. Take a 3" x 5" index card (or smaller - some people use 2" x 3", whatever works best). Using the pdf, pick 3 verses for a week. Some people choose to go down the list from the first line down (memorizing each line's 3 verses), or some go down the list by column (memorizing all verses under Pack 1, then moving to the next Pack columns). Choose whatever works best, just remember to get at least 3 verses a week.
  4. On the front of the index card, starting at the top left, write the verse out.
  5. Write the reference (i.e. "John 3:16") at the bottom-right on the front.
  6. Flip the card over and at the top left write the date you added this to your Memory Pack.
  7. Carry the cards around with you for 1 week, using every free moment to say the verse/reference silently to yourself and to meditate on what it means. Again, ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand the meaning. Some people keep them in their pockets, wallets, purses or a little pouch. The important thing is that it is always with you so you can pull it out if you get stuck on a verse, or just to review.
  8. At the end of the week, hand the cards to someone and ask them if they will 'go over your verses' with you. Get them to call the reference out and then repeat the verse and the reference back to them, word for word.
  9. Start the process over again for the new week.

The most amazing thing about this Memory Plan is that it's so simple! It requires only a little time and it's very practical. You can glance at the cards whenever you get a free chance - break on the job, in the car riding, in the morning before/at breakfast, or at night before you go to sleep. However, all of this is not what makes the memory plan effective.

What makes it effective is Reviewing. Here is a recommendation:
Once you complete a week's worth of memory, add your new cards to the same 'pack' as the previous weeks, always keeping a month's worth of cards with you (12). Go over the new verses each week but also review the old ones. At the end of the week, hand the previous week's cards PLUS the current week's cards to your friend, and repeat the verse + reference as they call the cards out. Always keep a month's worth of cards with you once you complete your first month.

Sound hard? It is! The reason is because it requires responsibility and self-denial - something we are not naturally able to do. Therefore, we must ask God for special grace so that we can do His will. Just as we are saved by grace (Ephesians 2:8-9), so we must ask for it more when attempting something outside of our natural ability. We can rejoice because God says His grace is always sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)!
